Replacing TH outside 6x9's

I have a 2007 Rage'N 32ft toy hauler, outside is a set of Rockford Fosgate 6x9's that are connected to a 200w amp and the speakers are behind doors built into the side of the toy hauler. Pretty sweet setup since the doors are just like the front storage doors but only house the speakers. Anyways, the speakers are old and I'm looking to replace them. I was looking at the Polk MM692 ($250), which are marine rated but I don't feel like I need them to be because they are behind doors. With Marine speakers I feel like I'd be sacrificing some sound. Does anyone have any recommendations on 6x9's? Or have the Polks? I don't care about cost and depth shouldn't be too big of an issue since these already protrude through the walls and have boxes built around them that are easy to modify if needed. I just want them to sound good with 100w going to them and have excellent bass output. Thanks!
  • I've been out mobile audio for too long. When I was heavy into it, I ran a Clarion Audia cassette head unit with DBX noise reduction feeding Carver mobile mag amps to power JBL 3-way 6x9 speakers with titanium tweeters.

I was more a rocker and preferred the base of the JBL products over the softer Polk. I still have JBL towers, studios and sub for my surround system amplified through Pioneer Elite integrated amplifiers. My oldest system has a Technics turntable with Grado cartridge powered by a Harmon Kardon integrated amplifier running Advent bookshelf speakers and a dual driver sub woofer.
