That points to another dynamic regarding the original question.
While a percentage do not desire LP reefers, some of the objections are to anachronistic electricity supply and consumption models. Modern residential reefers use far less electricity, and the ability to recharge on solar is much easier, cheaper and ubiquitous.
One more point: It is rare to ever hear of someone who has used both to desire to return to LP refrigeration.
Far less 110 electric has its efficiency advantages and makes rez fridges a viable option as long as you have a plan. However zero 110 electric required also has its place and requires no planning.
