That 600 watts a day is about 50-100 times my daily electricity usage now.
It really comes down to personal preference. For me, that increased electrical consumption is not necessary. I can use my propane fridge and not have to add solar, another battery, or a generator, or even worry if my alternator can maintain the charge. And since I'm already using propane for water heating and food prep, it's not a big deal to refill the tank once every year instead of once every two years (which is another poster's numbers - my propane usage doesn't have that much of a difference with or without the fridge).
Go with what you prefer and don't worry about maximizing everything to death.
