Go to a dealer in your refrigerator brand and ask how to turn off. The refrigerators he has on display have lights but the compressor is off. My Samsung user manual tell how to do this then warns not to. Telling us the refrigerator brand would help.

Mine (Samsung does not) but is turned off by pressing and holding a particular combo of numbers in the thermostat settings. My inverter can be turned off remotely by a switch inside the rig or on the inverter itself. Power also is switched automatically from inverter/shore power and then back to inverter provided the inverter is powered on. Wiring and choices are probably different per manufacturer. If you belong to the Jayco owners forum someone there should be able to answer your question if you don't get results here.
