We finally decided on our new home.. we bought us a Redwood, with residential fridge, dishwasher and the whole bit.. anyways, we are wondering how the fridges ride when you are moving. How do you keep the food from sliding around etc.. any secrets? We used to put down scoot guard and put in the bars in the norcold, but totally lost on this one. We will be on the road again soon, so it would be nice to have some heads up..we are excited for our new adventure in life, with our new home on wheels and would like to do all we can to make it uneventful. thank you
First off , welcome to the Redwood Family ! ! Secondly , It will be almost the same as an RV fridge , just bigger inside... Redwood does a decent job with the door stops , but I added Velcro to the handles just to be safe..
As far as inside goes , 4,000 miles on it and nothing has moved around inside or spilled. This past weekend we had a short trip planned , and not a lot of food BUT a large bowl of soup.. I just put 2 coats in as braces on the shelf...
