rhino 660 exhaust

Looking for a quiet happy medium. I have googled the subject and there is no clear cut answers. Opinions, price and sound levels are all over the map.

Like the muzzy with silent core but price is closing in on the value of the rhino itself with over 6k mi on the clock :p

Stock is in the 350-400 range and no guarantees when it will break again. Have friends that only got a year out of a new stock set-up.

In my opinion a rhino is a enjoy the trail vehicle and a hp or two with a louder exhaust wont do anything for me, except annoy others for no reason.

So the question is, what can be done to have a quiet exhaust that will last? Thanks BB

I have the Gibson Mark, installed the hardend studs and safety wired my springs and it has held up nicely, it's a little louder than stock, but no breakage.

Darrel, your rhino is what i wish mine was, so how much do you really drive it?

Granted i have much less miles on mine, but i know you have alot less than me. Our friends have over 6k miles on thier rhino's. Funny how most of our non rhino friends have broke thier recent new Toys just using them, almost all are broken.

  • I gotta repack my Pro Circut T4, it is So loud it gives Diana and i a headache. The pipe has 3000 miles on it so i figure its due, after riding in your rhino Mark to the gas station when we were at rasor i was thinkin, man your rhino is quiet. Mine sounds like a Harley.......Good news is the T4 is built strong, hasnt broke.
  • Have you looked at the Bentz Silent muffler?

A bolt on after market silent muffler that attaches to the OEM muffler, can be removed via 2 bolts etc.

  • I have the dual DMC quiet core afterburner 4 and it has a nice tone but is far from quiet in my opinion. For quiet my opinion is the stocker but they are really hard to find in good shape if used. I found mine online for $250 used..
  • Sorry Mods, thought I was in Toy Hauler section. Can you please move :S
