Anybody have a idea how much cost per foot to replace the roof with Rhino spray?

  • The Ft.Worth,TX Line-X dealer quoted me an estimate of $2500-$2900 depending on color for our 32' fifth wheel.

Been mentioned before, but THIS guy in Green Cove Springs, FL. charges $135/linear foot. It is a sprayed product, but don't know if it's similar to Rhino, Line-X. His website seems to state the product he applies is not.
  • But if its applied to the rubber membrane, then the rino spray will last as long as the roof.. Also the chemical reaction between the two might just eat the membrane material...If the membrane was removed then there is the joints of the plywood to worry about...when traveling down the road a camper shifts and twists puting pressure on the roof joints...
  • Yeah - a lot - but ....... a new rubber roof for our 25 foot 5ver was $5500. That compared to $4200 for a roof that would last a lifetime??? Sounds like Rhino might be a good deal.
  • I have heard quotes in the $4,200 range to do one RV, I think in the 30 - 36' long range.

I coated my RV with Herculiner, but would use a much safer to apply product next time. Sure I am happy with the Herculiner so far, but it might not last as long as I had hoped. My application was back in April 2011. It might be because I did not properly clean the roof before application, and I was thinking it was soaking into the EPDM roof - the chemicals did soak through the factory applied roof, and it sure had a strong odor for weeks.
