Rig destroyed today!

Ginnie and I have been on the road since mid June. This morning I developed a sudden fuel leak in my 2013 F350. It ignited before I could get stopped. Ginnie, our doggie and I bailed out of the truck and the cab was quickly engulfed in flames.

The fire spread to our 2014 Grand Design Reflection fifth wheel. The truck, FW, and all of our personal possessions were destroyed. We were able to buy some clothes tonight and we'll drive the 1800 miles to home in a rental car. When I get home, I'll post some pictures.

    Holy cow. What a horrible story. So sorry about your truck, rig, and possessions, but thank goodness the three of you are ok.

    Keep us posted when you find out how the fuel leak occurred. Doesn't sound right in a 2013!

    So sorry guys. Our prayers are with you. Don't think I want to see pics. It will make me sick to my stomach. Safe travels home.

    Can't imagine what you're going through. So very sorry but glad everyone got out OK. Hope you don't have problems with the insurance and can get back on the road.

    So very sorry to hear of your loss. Hate to hear something like this. So very thankful you are both okay and your doggie is with you. That must have been terrifying.

    Wishing you the best in getting it all straightened out. Safe travels back to your home. Time to regroup.

    What a horrible experience. So sorry you had to go thru that. So glad that you and your family and pet escaped injury and are ok. Our prayers will be with you tonight for a safe trip back home.
