I had a roof membrane failure this past December and I replaced it with RV Flex Armor. I will never have another rubber roof longer than it takes to take it to a RV Flex Armor install location. If I had an insurance check to pay for it, so much the better. No more caulking EVER!
Thanks Ed, I've never really looked into the RV Flex but I
like it. There is a dealer about 90 miles from where I live but that would be worth the trip.
I need to call my dealer and if he hasn't started the roof I may take it to them. It's actually less then the cost of a new roof. He said it runs about $175 a linear foot.
Thanks for the post
I had to travel a bit over 200 miles, but it was worth it too. One other benefit you will notice is how much quieter your rig will be when raining with the new RV Flex Armor. A couple of months ago I was hosting in a park when a big thunderstorm blew through. A bunch of small tree limbs/twigs blew off trees all over the park. One RV in the park had a small stick poke a hole in his rubber roof. All that happened to me was the hard rain washed off some dust.
Let me know how it goes. You will also be happy with the time it takes the RV Flex Armor installer to do the work. A couple of days vs a week or more than was quoted by my selling dealer.
