Rubbing elbow's with Mickey Mouse

Heading to Disney here at the end of the month for Spring Break. First trip out for the season - staying at Ft Wilderness. Can't wait to spend a great vacation with the family - it will be "MAGICAL"

That not only will save me money but I can eat and drink healthy

What do you do with them while on the rides/in line?
    Thanks,Mike

Yes Disney does allow coolers that comply with the size guidelines (they just dont publicize it as it means a loss of revenue lol). If we are all going on a ride the cooler is simply left in the baby stroller area. We have yet to have any issues and not a single item has ever been disturbed.
  • My favorite campground hands down! Been there 4 times and loved it every time. Get the meal plan and enjoy yourself.

The cooler is for drinks and snacks and makes our trips far more enjoyable and saves me a ton of money.
  • My wife and I are planning a 2014 trip to Disney. Definitely going with the food package. We're going to pull our 5er down from Maryland.
  • We spend 12 days at Fort Wilderness in July, 2012.. LOVED it..

We bought the dining package and were able to go without a cooler in the park. FWIW.. anyway you can do Ft Wilderness is pretty awesome.

We did lose our awning to a pop up storm at the Ft. I highly suggest you put your awning up completely every time you leave the site for an extended period, or at the very least put your awning to the lowest setting.. and use deflappers. :)

Good luck, Have a Magical trip

  • enjoy your trip but here is my money saving family tip...you will enjoy the parks far more if you plan ahead and take a properly sized wheeled cooler...24"L x 15"W x 18"H.
