Mine findings are dual purpose anything generally doesn't do either purpose as well as a single use product. Ospho has a water consistency that will seep in and penetrate the leaf springs, hangers, brackets and nuts and bolts and stop/change unseen rust not just cover up what you can see. I certainly dont like to go over things twice but I even hate it more if I have to redo the complete job.
