I built a barn and made it 40' wide so I could back in along one end and take up too much space. Bought a bigger camper later and it barely fits, but it fits.
If you built one of these car ports, insulate the tin, if not it will sweat and rain inside it every day. I've got one I use for cars and seen many pole barns do the same.
