We've used several different elec space heaters over the years, the absolute best we've ever had is the Dyson AM05 heat/cool. It's a fan or a heater when you need it. Adjustable volume, oscillating or still, accurate thermostat. Pricey at $399, but got ours on sale at Best Buy for $299.
