Rv insurance

How much you pay to insurance the FW and with what company.

  • Depends on:
Your driving record, your credit history, your coverage level, your deductible, type of policy, where you reside etc.

Your costs will be different than others........that's insurance.

We use National Interstate because we have 'full timers' insurance vs an addendum to our truck policy.
Full timers insurance is same type of policy coverage on a S&B home.

National Interstate specializes in RV Ins. coverage....all types of policies and coverages.

Been a great company.......couple of claims over the past 6 yrs. and they handled both quickly, efficiently, no hassles AND no increase in premiums.

Same here - added to our Allstate policy. Ours is $190 a year, with a $500 collision deductible that is actually $300 now with our safe driving record (a benefit of our plan - each year on this specific policy, without a claim, the deductible goes down $100. This is the Your Choice plan which we just started a few years back, but have always had Allstate). Comprehensive is $250. When not in use, we suspend the collision which saves money. Allstate has all the features of RV specific insurance including current replacement value. What we like best is the service we get. Our agent knows who we are when I call and suspend or reactivate for the season. They call us by name, know our policy numbers without having to remind them.

2nd on Allstate...They allow me to suspend as needed on my MH and that saves big $$ (normally saves us enough to pay for the fuel for the 1st 2 trips each year!)
  • USAA added to my truck policy, $270 per year. $100 comprehensive deductible and $500 for collision. Using the trailer 12 months out of the year, no opportunity to suspend coverage. Looks like I might could shop around a bit. But then again, customer service from USAA has always been outstanding.

  • We added our trailer onto our trucks insurance thru Allstate. Have to look at our policy as to amount but it's not much. Around $225 every 6 months with $100 deductible.
