Interesting. I too was with National Interstate for 7 years - full timers coverage. Zero claims and no rate increases until 20% last year and an attempt at an additional 10% this year. I said no! My agent claimed it was due to overall rate increases in South Dakota.
Switching both rig and toad to Geico for similar coverage provided a 40% savings for me off what it would have been if I renewed.
We went from 600 at year to over 1200. Said that same stuff about Louisiana. Dropped them so fast, they bounced. Went with Good Sam's and have their ERS also.
