You've been around long enough to know about Lippert. They are my worse nightmare lately. They keep getting bigger and buying more small manufacturing ops and then they ruin it. Trailair used to be a fantastic 3rd party vendor, so was JT Stablizer, and now they fall into the Lippert envelope and customer service is gone, even nasty. Our brand is a fantastic coach but in deep with Lippert and they are struggling with warranty and cheap shots by Lippert to deny claims for silly stuff like not following the service manual to the letter. Cheap bearings, seals, bushings, brakes, all having to be rebuilt within the first year of ownership. I feel sorry for any brand that relies on Lippert I'm sorry to say, because it's only a matter of time before their reputation gets trashed. Our prior Montana was haunted by them, and they have gotten worse.
It's hard to stay away from Lippert, but I will try next time.
