A few years ago a cloud was spotted in the sky over southern california. We had heard of these things before from books, magazines and scientific periodicals. We all went into panic mode, store shelves raided, gas shortage, dogs and cats running loose thru neighborhoods.....

Fortunately it was a false alarm and the cloud disapated. ;)

There are so many toyhaulers here in the desert southwest that you cant drive anywhere without seeing dozens of them. We are required by state law to own one and a SXS...To haul our amo and booze.

I had a similar experience (and disappointment) at the Pittsburgh RV Show this year and last year. They had several big Voltage 5th wheels and similar. And they had a few smaller "half-ton-towable" TT Toy Haulers in the 20-25ft range. But they didn't have even one Travel Trailer Toy Hauler in the 30-35ft range with slides. The closest thing was a, I think 27ft Rubicon (if I remember right) with no slides or separate garage. But it had a sold sign on it and was all locked up so you couldn't even see inside of it.

Even more disappointing, none of the local dealers even have any on their lots to go look at. I'd have to drive about 4-5 hrs to actually look at one.

I did go to the KC show. Most of the TH's there were either 10 or 12' garage models and they were top of the line (BIG). I'm looking for more of a mid level in the 28 - 32 long, non-garage model. I was hoping there was something going on in the Phoenix area.

Did you miss the RV show in Kansas City (Bartle Hall) last weekend? I saw multiple toy haulers at the show.

The southwest has the largest amount of toy haulers and many are built there. When we had our toy hauler, it was a rare sight in the northwest and mostly only seen in areas with dunes or sand.

If your still looking in September ,Hershey always has a lot of Toy Haulers...
