RV Travel Insurance?

I am inquiring about travel insurance for an RV Trip that we are planning for next summer. Most campgrounds these days require full payment in advance to make a reservation with no refunds possible.  I need insurance that will cover campground fees in case we should have an emergency and have to cancel one site or all of our trip. This will be a self planned series of places to visit in Colorado and New Mexico..  There should be about 8 different campgrounds over a 6 week period.  I expect the total cost of reservations to be around $3,000.  Does anyone know of any travel insurance for this?

  • I literally got a quote from a known insurance/investment broker in less than a minute from Allianz.
BTW it was $300ish for the basic which has a bunch of benefits and coincidentally $3k in trip protection.
so not sure what the question really is other than wanting someone to do the legwork for you.

  • While there may be some risk, it seems the OP just added a subjective comment about being non refundable. Who knows what RV resorts they’re looking at (based on the cost he says, it’s all rv parks they’re staying at).
but like most newb posts here, they’re generally looking for info they could find online almost as easily.

  • A quick Google found quite a few hits for RV travel insurance. That said, in all my years of RV ing, I don't recall a single campground that didn't have a cancellation policy. And not all require full payment up front.
