We are selling our 5th wheel and have it listed on Craig's list. Came across this web site RVT.com which, for a fee, will list the RV and get you more exposure. Has anyone dealt with them or heard about them in selling or buying an RV?
If you have any suggestions on how to get more exposure on selling our RV please let us know.
Thanks in advance.
I've had my Komfort on the market for a year. Got exiled from CL for posting it too many times, so had to leave it down for about 45 days. I've paid RVTrader and RVT for listings there. RVTrader generates about 10x the views that RVT does, but it's not a "run 'til it sells" ad; your ad on RVT =will= run until you cancel it. I've got about another 30-40 days before Trader expires and I will not renew it. I'm not a fan of Trader's admin side. I've not gotten notices when my ad was about to go inactive and it actually went inactive...twice. They refused to extend me for a couple weeks for =their= email problem. They can send me my searches all day long, as well as their newsletter, but not anything relating to my ad. Not quite true; I have had a few, a =very= few inquiries. Out of 10-11, 6 or 7 were out 'n out scams. Also, their searches return =way= too many false results. When you're looking for a =specific= model RV, you should =only= see those results, not another 200 that have nothing to do with your search other than brand and that it's a FW. RVT's search, OTOH, is =much= more targeted and my saved searches return =only= the specific models I'm looking for. Trader couldn't give a rat's a$$ about it and their CS reps come across as too busy and arrogant to really care. BUT...they pull vast amounts of traffic, there's no getting around that. So far, my most serious inquiries have come from Craig's List...
