I've always had good luck selling privately. Craigslist is awesome... Advertise in all the cities you want. Newspaper ads are fast becoming obsolete. Advertise a fair price and don't be too quick to drop it if nobody call right away. It can take a couple of weeks before the first call but don't sweat it. If you answer texts, just tell them to call... 99% of texts are scams. Demand calls in person only, otherwise the texts will drive you nuts. Sorry for your situation.
