Yup. I modified my fenders above for additional clearance. These tires are awesome. They weighed almost double what ny China-blow tires did.
They look like semi tires. This should have been my first mod three years ago.
There is now a 235/80 R16 that is shorter. The taller height has become a non issue
Only concern I had was there was slide adjustment bolts that protrudes down on both sides in the fender well. I decided to remove them ,and shorten them up about an inch. Don't know why they are so long to start with, never been adjusted or would need that much adjustment, anyway I cut them down .
I never considered the 235/80/16 I wanted all the extra height I can get to help level the fifth wheel a bit. The clearance on my fenders look okay, if not I'm sure those beefy tires will modify that cheap plastic with no problem :B
