Sailun Tire Failure
It was bound to happen, and it did. Any experts want to weigh in? Luckily, no damage to fifth wheel or rim. 2 year old Sailun S637 , inflated to 100 psi.

On edit: You said it was not curbed, but why is the blacken area only at the side bulge area. Near the rim and on the shoulder the tire is still dirty. What side of the trailer will this tire on. Drivers and passengers? Chris
Front tire drivers side . No curbing , it’s pretty tough on that side to begin with, much easier on the curb side. That discoloration is from running with no air in it , I’m sure the rubber breaking down. It’s partially wet, it was actually rolled thru the snow there in Kingman at Big O .
