IMO, Maxxis is being left in the dust by the newer tires that have come out in the past 2-3 years. Maxxis still have a 65 mph speed rating, while the Endurance and the latest Carlisle have an 81 mph rating, IIRC. Maxxis also are more money than the Endurance and Carlisles. Not the only ones out there, by any means, but they do have decent reps, especially the Endurance.

I know some are big on the Goodyear brand, but "decent rep", thats a stretch. Haven't been on the market that long. Time will tell .
