We have Dish network at home, looking to take the spare receiver with us this week. What do we need to get set up on the road (dish {lnb}, tri pod, signal finder, ?????)? Got to be able to get the Clemson/ USC game. Looking for some help.

What system do you have at home (receiver model, dish type, etc)? Do you have anything extra already (dish, signal finder, tripod mount, etc)? Need a little bit more info.

If you don't want to buy the "Cube" or a roof-top dish set-up go buy a folding antenna tripod that you would use on the roof of the house,buy three of those big nail type tent pegs to anchor it down and buy about two feet of 2" electrical aluminum conduit and mount your dish on it,when you leave just fold the whole she-bang up and yer' off!

Buy the dish tailgater save u some hard ache. Did the tri pod pointing dish thing for yrs. with the tail gater all u do is point to southern sky with clear visibility . Connect coax cable go inside turn your dish box on once on it will ask u which state your in. Just follow directions. May. Need to call dish to boot your box . Depending on how often u use it.

Depending on how often u use it.I agree, just got out Tailgater and receiver (not current dish customers)set and account activation was a snap. Pay as you go is just that you need to keep one months billing paid, next month you only need to make up the difference for days used.Plan is to make a ladder top mount, it is light enough to toss up each time out, safer there also!!
