I bought my HughesNet Internet system 10 years ago. Back then it was about the only real option to have internet away from a metro area.
It is slow and download capabilities are limited. On the other hand, If I have a clear view of the southern sky, I have internet in the most remote places. I have shared with near by campers so they can send/receive email. Even text messages.
With all it's faults, I dread the day when it dies. Service is almost extent.
