Savvy buyer needed
looking to purchase newnew 5th wheel. Previous purchases have been used. How much of a discount from list should I be able to count on for a new purchase?

- We got 38% off of ours and everyone was happy. I guess we should have pushed for more but I was happy with the price and trailer so let it go at that. I think my kids would have killed me if I tried the walk away technique to get a little more off of it. At 8 and 4 they don't have very good negotiating skills.
- Depends on who set the list price, the manufacturer or the dealer? Could make a huge difference in discount needed.
- 30% should be your target. Might get 35% in some instances.
