Too funny, I agree on all other than B&W as you have to not open your eyes as if you are latched and locked with a B&W and you can see the jaws closed around the kingpin it's HITCHED no question.

BUT an ANDERSEN sure can pop off if someone pulls the locking mechanism that can't be locked. Don't say it would not pop off! If it could not they sure would not have put the latching mechanism on it.
Of the ANDERSEN hitches you do have the best one!
I didn't put a lock on my previous hitch ,nor do I worry about this Andersen, I read long ago , kids or whomever pulling the handles on fifth wheel hitches, It something I check EVERY time my truck is left unattended, along with other things. Its a process of towing a fifth wheel for me.
We can talk all day about what can go wrong or has happened . The time a guy left his B&W hitch locked open, backed in ,took off dropped the fifth wheel without checking the hitch, ya it happened, and most likely it will happen again .
Maybe you have ,maybe you haven't used other hitches, but heres the deal, I don't know of a hitch if you open your eyes ,and pay attention you will not drop a fifth wheel. Thats visually looking ,pull test, etc etc etc etc.whatever it takes .
Is the B&W easier to hitch then my previous hitch, doubtful, I can't claim whether it is or it isn't ,and neither can you make the claim yours is easier then mine.
