Wow...I just looked at it, didn't realize that the Patriot didn't have those pins. My dad has the Patriot as well. I'll have to see how he locks his. I know that he has 4 locks that he puts through the rails to lock the base down, I think he just uses a cable to lock the head to the base somehow.
Yeah I would go outside and figure it out it, but its -31c (-24F) right now , although I shouldn't complain it was -41c (-42F) (with wind chills) this am
