Securing Pocket Door for Transit-new hardware/ideas needed

Need your help with this one-on our last trip, the bedroom pocket door bottom latch (built into the door) failed on our heavy door. At the end of a 100 mile trip, the lower latch mechanism failed and...

You may have to notch the trim.


I can see why you added the manual latch. Just look at the OEM strap and location of the snap. The strap should have been longer that the snap around the corner so the pull was on the side, not straight off.
