Selling toy hauler- suggestions

I currently have a 2007 Keystone Fuzion 362 toy hauler and if I can talk the wife into it I will be putting it on the market in a few months. Looking to buy a place at the river now that kids are out of the house.

I have owned/sold a smaller toy hauler before and also a motor home in the past straight through Craigslist, but I think since this is a 37' fifth wheel toy hauler I should list it somewhere where I will get more hits because of its size. I shouldn't have too much of a problem selling it for what I owe on it, but it is getting people to come take a look.

I would appreciate any suggestions of websites/consignment/dealer people have used and had good/bad experiences with. I live in Southern California.
  • Maybe use it for part of your 'place at the river' ?!?

have seen many that do that and it's pretty nice if done correctly...

That's what my wife and I have done...Got 5er in my sig. setting on a little over a 1/2 acre of land on a river in WVa....Works out perfectly for us ..oh, and our two boxers:).....37' 4 slide, with washer/dryer combo and HD satellite on roof of 5er....We love it......

AND...if we want to go somewhere else to camp earlier in the year, or make a run to the beach, we have the truck and still have our 5er....looking forward to heading out west with this combo in a few more years when we retire (good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise:))
  • OH I will not be able to let my wife see these responses. We would go back to debating our plans again.

She wants both the river house and keep the 5th wheel to do a couple winter trips and beach in the summer. It is just not in the budget since she "had to have the boat too" that we just bought last year.

I think we both realize since two of three kids are out of the house now that we would get more use with the family at the river. We did the take the 5th wheel up to the river last summer and this summer and enjoyed it, but there are too many variables that don't work for us.

I just want to be prepared so when we make the decision to sell it I can get it cleaned up and advertised and out of the storage payment. I have use of a smaller trailer that will work for us when we do weekend riding trips or occasional beach trips.

Thanks for your service NC Hauler!!!!
  • You're welcome:).

Well, you know what you need to do, so good luck in your decision, take care and enjoy the river and the boat:B

That's where I found our new-to-us toy hauler.

    For me, Craigslist wasn't helpful.
    Just tons of silly low-ballers.

I ended up selling mine to a friend on a web forum I frequent.
Someone who knows how well I maintain my stuff, and was willing to pay market value for it.
