I've now had both... Had the non-garage and liked having all "usable" space while camping. Then I got tired of always doing the setup and take down. We go at least once a month so it was a chore every time we arrived and left.
Now we have a garage model and really enjoy being able to pull in and basically be done. (I'm getting old and tired)
We also use our garage for our dinette so it's still "usable" space while camping.
The main thing is to figure out what is important to you and prioritize with those needs in mind.
