Really sorry for your situation!!!
Only safe thing I can think of under your situation would be to first remove everything of personal value from your RV then disconnect your RV and ask the person that pulled in behind you to hook to the RV and pull it off the truck. But that's a lot to think of when in a panic situation for sure.
Really best thing is to let it burn as you did!!!
