setting out landing gear while still hooked up to truck

If I were to drop all 6 jacks on our 5th wheel while still hitched up, I certainly wouldn't try an AutoLevel!! The nose drops dramatically on ours to start the auto-level process, and the fact that the hitch would prevent it from doing so might well inhibit the AutoLevel logic.

If you're only looking for stability, you could extend the front and rear jacks in manual mode and retract them in manual mode (or use AutoRetract) the next morning.
