Shadow Cruiser 5er

I have been looking into the 21 foot models made in the 90's. Anyone have any insight to them? They appear to be made for mid-size trucks to pull, with a dry weight of 3,100lbs, and from what I can find on line the are around 4,600lbs wet and ready to camp.
  • I tried to buy one in 94 for my 94 dodge diesel, but couldn't get a decent price for my trade in. The bedroom is nothing but a crawl space, but that's one of the reasons it tows so well. The thing to look out for is leaks around the windows, door and roof vents. Also, check all caulking. If you buy it, pull the wheels and check the brakes and grease the bearings. Feel for soft spots in the ceiling and floor. Open cabinets and check for rot. Lots of luck.
