In my opinion the Rockwood has too weak a frame. We had one for 3 years. We trade ours because the frame flexed too much and the rear wall broke away from the frame. This happened on two occasions. The roof also delaminated on a long road trip out west. It had to be sent to the factory for repair. Forest River were great honouring warranty repairs.
We never overloaded our trailer and always drove at or below the speed limits. The Rockwood has 6" "I" beams. I think they are too light for a 30' trailer. Friends of ours own a Rockwood and have never experienced a major problem. They also drive several thousands of miles per year.
I now pay more attention to the strength of the frame when RV shopping.
Good luck.
