I agree with above about both the minimum weight shift and the tailgate issue. Looks like you have minimal clearance with the tailgate down now. If it did not clear, you would have to have someone stand back there and tend your tailgate when hooking and unhooking. Or get in and out of your truck to tend it yourself.
