Should I worry about freezing?

Our trailer is already winterized, however our plans have changed. We have reservations in Crystal River Florida starting early Jan. for three months. We now plan to take it down there and set it up on site next week. I know it doesn't freeze often there, so do I need to blow out the lines again to be safe till we go back in Jan? It won't be plugged in while were not there. My gut says it will be ok.

Thanks, Mark
  • Hell will probably freeze over before Crystal River, Florida.

If you are concerned, open the low point drains and open the faucets. That's overkill.

Thanks, I might not even fill the water heater.

  • If it were me and worried about freezing why not re-winterize?

Doesn't take that long and it takes care of any worries.

  • There is only a remote chance of a freeze before that date and typically it would be a very short duration.
