I would attach a clear plastic extension to the sewer drain. Then with the grey and black tanks fully drained, close the black tank valve and open the grey tank valve, run the shower, and see if water comes out. If not, close the grey tank valve and open the black tank valve, run the shower, and see if water comes out. If water comes out with the black tank valve open and not the grey then the shower is plumbed to the black tank or grey tank discharge plumbed to same line as black tank discharge. A mistake by whoever plumbed the unit. In that case, I would have it replumbed correctly.
I had a Keystone Cougar with 1 black tank and 2 grey tanks and the dump valves for these tanks were labeled incorrectly. Could your problem be that simple? Your "black tank" may actually be your bathroom grey tank and one of your grey tanks may actually be the black tank.
X2 on both of these. I was parked next to a couple that had the same problem. The tank labels where attached wrong. :R
If your shower is backing up the gray water tank is full. You would KNOW if it was attached to the black because raw sewage would back up into the shower! Do a test as mentioned above.
