side patio
We are considering buying a Momentum 399TH. It has a side patio. I'm wondering if any one has input on side patios. Pros and cons. Thanks in advance

- Have friends who bought a new one last year. Love it.
- Have two patios on our Seismic 4212. simple mechanism, no moving parts to breakdown and great when it rains. It keeps the pets dry and off the wet ground.

- I think it's a neat new feature, but I wonder about leaks and the inability to deploy it in crowded CGs with narrow sites and trees.
That wouldn't stop me from buying one though. - Will definitely be a consideration on the next rig we buy!
- I've been looking at rigs that have side patio and although its a neat feature, it seems to cut down on the amount of livable interior space you have especially in the area where you eat and relax. The ones I looked at that don't have a patio has a slide out there. Seems to be a big trade off for those that camp in the cooler months just to have a raised platform to sit outside.
- They are neat, but for my money I'd rather have dual opposing slides.
