The first owner put on the SW/5AB cuz he had a SB truck. I have a LB so I took off the SW and moved the 5AB back, so it's the length of a short pin box now. I didn't like hooking up cuz the truck had to be perfectly straight. They DO work good and I would get used to the hooking up if I had to.
Gas, try bolting the block into place and drill holes and drive roll pins thru the block and into the pin plate to keep it from moving, or have it welded. Spray the pivot with chain lube. My pivot center post is completely surrounded by Teflon discs (top and bottom) and it looks like a UHMW center bushing but it was still hard to turn, even unhitched. They must be REALLY tight with the 5er weight on it. Craig
