Why is tire siping bad for trailer tire applications?

If not factory/mfg. aftermarket siping probably will void any mfg. warranty
Two....
Siping a trailer tire can result in chunks due to stresses applied to threads when 'jacking' a trailer into a spot.
Ever watch the tires/suspension when backing into an off angle site

Siping does improve traction but trailer tires are not 'drive tires' and traction improvement will be marginal
