Siping?

I've sipped drive tires for traction, but have never sipped non-drive or trailer tires. The only negative I can think of is it will probably cause the tread to wear quicker, but I don't think you'll pull the trailer far enough to worry about the tread wear. Have you asked the company that would do the siping if they'd recommend it for trailer tires? I don't think it would help with traction enough to make it worth while, but again have never tried it on a trailer.
