Sounds like it may not be quite as simple as we hoped but that there is a solution.
Me too, apparatnly changing the order of the hoses won't do anything.
The video I posted was a Grand Design owner that found where the mfr had installed valves in each slideout line, so you can close the valves to all but the one slide you want to operate. Sounds like this solved the problem for the OP, I have to check now and see if I have a similar setup.
