Slide leak

Could be wicking in if Crossroads uses a certain covering on the slide bottom (can't remember the name) that's notorious for this. Also, the slide could be a hair out of adjustment and not sealing tightly enough. You sure it's not coming in at the top and running down? I had this issue and had a shop put some self-stick 1/2" weather stripping on the top-rear corner of the wall, where the slide hits, and I've never had another leak.

I had a problem with my bedroom slid as well as the dinette and living room slide. Turns out it was coming from top. It was running down the inside of walls and the carpet was wicking.
Still under warranty, took to dealer and the replaced the flashing tape on top. But realized the factory did not caulk the side by facia. So the water was getting underneath and working its way down.

Also I had a window from the factory that was not installed properly.

I like the self stick weather strip idea, as the way water comes in it's usually from the top. Would self stick black foam tape work or would it just soak through the foam and past the adhesive backing ?

One would a$$ume that "weather stripping" would be fairly "weather proof", so should stop water. All I can tell you is that it worked for me.

are you sure its not a window? Had a window issue that caused water on my Bedroom slide.

No it isn't the window. But thanks anyway.

I had a bedroom slide that leaked at the lower trim on the outside wall.

Rain ran down the outside of the wall til it hit the trim at the bottom. Went behind the trim, then wicked between the inner and outer floor panels and ran out at the inside rear corner onto the bedroom carpet.

We resealed at the top seams two or three times before we realized that it was the lower area that was letting it in.

Painted the seam with Lanco (brand) elastomeric Roof paint and it has been good for a year now (including some really hard rainstorms). I watch for travel vibration induced cracks in the paint, but have not seen any.

Lanco is available at Home Depot.

Well I put 1/4" x 1/2" weather strip on the inside today. Slide's out now and waiting for rain to see if that did the trick.
