Same here.

In when I know I am not going to be using it for a while. Out usually from mid feb through October so I do not have to keep taking the slide in and out.

I also often store extra beer in the fridge so I need to be accessing the kitchen a couple times a week.

In, but as most slide manuals say, every few weeks it needs be extended and retracted to exercise the seals. No different than leaving it extended for a period of time. You need to retract and extend every so often.

In is probably best, but out is OK too if you need it out for some reason. I have left mine out for extended period of time. It is your choice.
