Well sorry for the long delay. I actually forgot about getting the info out about the final resolution. The manufacture sent a new fascia piece to the repairing dealer, (not the dealer we bought from), They removed awning, replaced fascia and re-installed awning topper in the proper way. We haven't had any issues at this point and don't think we will. Kudos to Grand Design for making sure this got done, Thanks to La Mesa RV in Phx in getting it done. We are back on the road again and enjoying our travels. so lastly, if you get any items installed on your RV that didn't come with it fro the factory, do your homework and make sure the installation is correct.
