Slide topper tension too loose

Hi, one of my slide toppers seems to allow the vinyl fabric to be so loose that a significant amount of water collects when it rains. I kmow that you can't expect no water accumulation, but this is extreme. Is there a way to adjust the tension on the roller so that it doesn't sag so much. Hope to hear some positive feedback. Thanks in advance.

BTW, it's a 12' wide slide-out.

    It may not be something you would want to tackle unless you know how to do it. Sort of like the springs on your garage door.

    My service dept. tightened it up about 4 turns and it is much better. This is on the Dometic slide topper. My two Carefree toppers allow the water to drain and never sag. Buckeye Chuck, I think they're BS'ing you.
