Slide toppers

Unfortunately those toppers are pure junk. They don't even shade much because they are so thin the heat and sun comes right through.
Unless you got the Alumiguard awnings, you fell into the same trap I did; seem to be a good deal when ordering but in fact they're a sub par-model that Carefree builds just for manufacturers. You can't even buy the same units or parts for them.
Your next challenge will be figuring out how to keep them from stretching out and pooling terribly when it rains on them.
I have to carry long pieces of rigid insulation to support them.
FWIW, I gave the NW VP an earful about these yesterday.

Same as the awning. Open it and scrub it with a brush. Its a total pain to do but.......
