How many people that have a slider hitch have used it and how often? Short bed trucks. I hear trailers are made so you don't need it but just wondering who has used and under what circumstances? Tho...

Been using the same PR Superglide since 2006. First truck 06 Dodge 2500 short bed 4x4 never a problem... even during full turn extreme leaning in unlevel sandy sites,the hitch slides back by design during all turns.
Now the same hitch is in my signature truck,works great when backing into tight sites with a dually... the slide action is actually turning the 5ver as I back in.The unsolicited peanut gallery was watching as I backed the rig into a very tight turn site on the first try awhile back and then walked off without comment sucking on their cigarettes.
My neighbor down the street has taken out 2 back windows and crunched the cab up on his short box truck because he didn't want to get out and slide his manual slide hitch back... go figure.
