Slides come out a couple of inches at the bottom when travel

You didn't mention the brand of trailer. Our Montana did that with one slide as well. Inside the control panel where you extended the front jacks there were 4 shut off valves, one for each slide. I found if you closed them after closing up that took care of the problem. You may or may not have that option.
